From Personal Struggle to Public Service

Growing up in a low-income household taught us that financial literacy is a survival skill. Later, we realized that for many families, life’s joyful milestones—weddings, graduations, homecomings—often become sources of crushing debt rather than celebration.

We founded Afford Today to break that cycle. What started as a personal project has grown into a programmatic initiative designed to democratize access to financial planning. We exist to ensure that everyone has the "wealth tools" usually reserved for the few.
